Web Writing

Erica writes web content for website launches and redesigns in a variety of industries, including higher education and retail. Clients include the University of Vermont and Bee’s Wrap.

She is also skilled in WordPress, Drupal, and SEO.

Erica Houskeeper wrote and built the UVM Student Financial Services website in Drupal, a CMS used across the University. The website outlines tuition payment deadlines, financial aid information, and scholarship opportunities. Erica worked closely with the Student Financial Services staff throughout the process to develop content, create an information hierarchy, and manage deadlines.

When Bee’s Wrap was looking to redesign its website, the Middlebury-based company hired Erica Houskeeper to develop web copy and elevate its brand voice. Erica oversaw the development of content for the new website, creating compelling copy and blog posts for the sustainable food wrap brand.

Rethink Runoff, a local initiative managed by the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission, is aimed to educate homeowners about stormwater run-off. As part of a web copy refresh, Erica helped distill the science and environmental impact of stormwater into helpful calls-to-action for residents.
